During this 4-week course, we will explore the transformative practices of the Four Immeasurables, which can help us cultivate empathy and love, and embrace a more joyful and fulfilling life through our connection with others. Through guided meditations and practical teachings, we will learn how to nurture these qualities in our daily lives, leading to improved relationships, mental well-being, and spiritual growth.

These four practices have a wide range of benefits, such as helping us to overcome loneliness, heal divisions, and foster meaningful connections with others. These practices are accessible to anyone seeking inner transformation and greater happiness in life, whether Buddhist or not. Come along and give it a try!

Week 1: Loving-kindness (Metta): Cultivating an open heart and goodwill towards all beings

Week 2: Compassion (Karuna): Developing empathy and understanding for the suffering of others

Week 3: Empathetic Joy (Mudita): Sharing in the joy and happiness of others

Week 4: Equanimity (Upekkha): Finding balance and serenity amidst life's ups and downs

These classes consist of easy-to-follow guided meditations, talks and discussions covering a different aspect of meditation & Buddhist mind-training each week.

The talks explore the inner causes of things like stress and anxiety and provide you with new tools to reduce these and feel more positive and peaceful, no matter what’s going on in life.

Classes are suitable for everyone, seating is on chairs (or bring your own cushion/yoga mat), and no special clothing is needed – just come as you are. *Please pre-book*
