During this 4-week course, we will explore Buddhist Mind Training techniques (lojong) that help us transform emotional pain, anxiety, and stress into mental well-being in ways that benefits us and the people around us. These practices are accessible to anyone seeking inner transformation, whether Buddhist or not.
Week 1: Introduction to Mind Training - Rising to the Challenge
Week 2: When We Don't Get What We Want - Transforming Disappointment
Week 3: When Things Go Wrong - Transforming Anger
Week 4: When We're Blamed or Harmed - Transforming Self-Cherishing
--
These classes consist of easy-to-follow guided meditations, talks and discussions covering a different aspect of meditation & Buddhist mind-training each week.
The talks explore the inner causes of things like stress and anxiety and provide you with new tools to reduce these and feel more positive and peaceful, no matter what’s going on in life.
Classes are suitable for everyone, seating is on chairs (or bring your own cushion/yoga mat), and no special clothing is needed – just come as you are. *Please pre-book*
