One Week Retreat - Shamatha and the Four Immeasurables

Morning Yoga - 21 August 2025

Manu Oromith · 33 minutes · recorded August 21, 2025

Manu leads cactus arms folded into chair pose, repeated three times, then wrist circles and cat and cow in tabletop. Cactus arms return in the lunge from three legged dog, and locust builds in stages, chest and arms lifted first, then chest, arms and legs together, repeated on each side with a rest between. Pigeon follows, and we go as deep as feels right, down to the elbows or resting the head on the arms, and the class closes with shoulder circles, a neck stretch and slow breathing lying down.
