One Week Retreat - Shamatha and the Four Immeasurables

Morning Yoga - 22 August 2025

Manu Oromith · 31 minutes · recorded August 22, 2025

Manu opens seated with neck rolls and arm stretches reaching behind the back, then thread the needle in tabletop. The main part of the class is a good bunch of sun salutations, standing to forward fold to plank to up dog to down dog and back to standing, with Manu going quiet so everyone follows their own breath and stops into child's pose when they have had enough. A standing balance with the foot resting on the opposite leg, never on the knee, and a reach for the opposite hand behind the back follow, before the class ends on the back with slow breathing out through the mouth.
