The Illumination of Primordial Wisdom

D6S1 - Do Nothing a Buddha Wouldn't Do

Lama Alan · 122 minutes · recorded January 1, 2021

The final morning begins with a twenty four minute practice rather than a talk, in which we rest in awareness of awareness. Lama Alan Wallace then reaches conduct, where equipoise and daily life merge indivisibly and thoughts arise as aids to meditation. Yangthang Rinpoche's commentary adds the detail: sustain that initial moment of freshness, because mental afflictions ride on the current of conceptualization. In the closing practice we watch the mind designate objects and reify them.
