Guided Meditation - From the Breath to Awareness of Awareness

David Oromith · 20 minutes · recorded October 15, 2025

It starts with settling body, speech and mind, dropping the grasping and planning rather than the thoughts themselves, and stabilising on the breath. Then it turns: you are asked whether you can be aware of being aware of the breath, and eventually to let the breath go altogether and rest in awareness itself.

Distraction and attention Awareness of awareness Mindfulness of breathing Open presence Shamatha (calm abiding)
