Guided Meditation - Unconditional Loving Kindness, Beginning with Yourself at Your Worst

Lama Alan · 25 minutes

Can you love yourself at your worst? Lama Alan Wallace begins here, asking you to recall an episode of your own regrettable behaviour and to distinguish the person from the afflictions and habits that gripped them. You offer yourself the four aspirations. The same recognition then extends to someone whose conduct has clearly harmed others, and finally to a person who has harmed you, met as a brother or sister in the same predicament.

Anger and aversion Forgiveness Guilt and regret Self-criticism and shame Loving kindness (metta) The four immeasurables
