Sitting with Emotion

David Oromith · 33 minutes · recorded October 26, 2025

In the meditation we turn towards recent difficult emotions and moods, meeting them with a loving, non-judgmental presence rather than trying to fix them. Inspired by Sogyal Rinpoche's handshake practice, David talks about why suppressing feelings causes physical and emotional strain, and connects this to the recognise, allow, investigate and nurture of RAIN practice.
