Taking Our Practice One Step at a Time

David Oromith · 30 minutes · recorded November 12, 2023

The session opens with a short mindfulness of breathing to settle the mind, before David guides a visualisation of a glowing white orb at the heart centre, inviting you to meditate from that point of clarity. He talks about pacing our practice one day at a time rather than trying to accumulate everything at once, using the Buddha's image of the water pot filled drop by drop and the tortoise who beats the flitting hummingbird. He suggests a varied practice of concentration, loving kindness and small daily mindfulness.
